These days, US president Donald Trump has become a subject of ridicule, criticism and attack by a cross section of people. Everybody is using his name for attacking his or her own rival.
So is the case with Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
He sought to compare his arch rival and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy with Donald Trump, stating that people should elect a right person for the top post, instead of dangerous characters like Trump.
Without naming the Leader of the Opposition, Naidu said the US President was showing the world how power could be misused if placed in the hands of the wrong man. He asked the people whether they wanted a joker like Trump as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Referring to the controversial US president, Naidu said placing power in the hands of people like Trump was like handing a stone to a mad man.
Voicing concern over Trump’s attempt to impose restrictions on H-1B visas, Naidu said the U.S. had plunged into chaos as a consequence of the protectionist policy.
“Trump set an example of how an individual can damage a country. There are agitations all around and the whole of U.S. is under turmoil,” he added.
