Stating that he proved his mettle by bringing about monumental development in Hyderabad during his previous nine-year rule, TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said he had every right to demand due share in Hyderabad.
Addressing the people at a program in Anakapalli, as part of his two-day tour of Visakhapatnam district, Chandrababu Naidu commented that the problems of the people have gone up after bifurcation of the State in unscientific manner.
The Telugu Desam party was wedded to protect Telugu race despite provocation from the other side, he said.
He advised the Telangana government to sort out disputes across the table as the animosity between the two Telugu States was not good to both.
Naidu reminded that even as he proposed that the AP would bear 58% and Telangana 42% in the reimbursement of tuition fee to the students, the latter remained mum.
He said he was ready to compete with his Telangana counterpart in achieving similar development in the residual AP State.
He also said the people are watching who were really working for their welfare, he said.
