Naidu Building Up Anti-KCR Sentiment In AP!

Naidu Building Up Anti-KCR Sentiment In AP!

With Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao declaring that he would certainly poke his nose in Andhra Pradesh politics in the coming assembly elections, Telugu Desam Party president and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lost no time in getting ready to face the challenge and turn it to his advantage.

Immediately after the announcement of election results, KCR said he would certainly give a return gift to Naidu, who had given his gift to Telangana by campaigning for TDP in the recent assembly elections.

"We have been getting innumerable calls from people asking us to get involved in AP politics. We shall certainly do that and It is only fair that I return the gift to Naidu," KCR said.

Naidu is now trying to cash in on KCR’s statement by whipping up the same Andhra self-respect sentiment.

He has started provoking people saying that KCR, who was responsible for the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to fulfil his hunger for power in Telangana, now wants to create a wedge among the people of Andhra again by poking his nose in AP politics.

“Brothers, KCR says he will give me a return gift. Tell me, should we accept his gift or not? He wants to create further unrest in the already divided AP saying that he would enter AP politics. Should we allow it? He has ganged up with YSR Congress party to foment troubles in the state,” Naidu alleged, addressing Dharmaporata Sabha at Srikakulam on Saturday.

He said he was not afraid of anything and exuded confidence that he can face any challenge as long as AP people are with him.

"Telugu pride is of utmost importance to me. I will not tolerate insults. I will work to generate wealth for the state" he said.

He explained that he would behave in a dignified manner to such confrontationist politics of KCR and other opponents.

“In democracy, everyone has the right to engage in politics wherever they choose to. I campaigned in Telangana because I wanted the Telugu people to flourish wherever they are,” he said.
