Naidu back at attacking CBI

Naidu back at attacking CBI

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who was allegedly hand in glove with the Congress party in engineering investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, has now started attacking the same CBI after the release of Jagan on bail.

Naidu, who was till the other day complimenting the CBI for its investigation into the Jagan case, on Thursday sought to know why the CBI director had called on AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Affairs Digvijay Singh. “Was Singh a master of the CBI?,” he asked.

The TDP chief alleged that the Congress has been utilizing the services of the CBI for its political gains. The comments of Congress leaders on Y S Jaganmohan Reddy clearly indicate that the Congress and Jagan had a secret deal, Naidu said and reminded that Digvijay had said Jaganmohan Reddy was a DNA of his party while Veerappa Moily did not rule out an alliance with the YSRCP.

Alleging that the Congress has mortgaged the country for its political mileage, the TDP chief said the country’s premier investigating agency had been protecting corrupt and those who fleece the people and the ruling party also using the CBI against its opponents. Raising a question on the memo submitted by the investigating agency in the CBI court when arguments on the bail petition of Jagan were being heard, Naidu said.
