Central Minister Venkayya Naidu is angry with the fact that the BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh are not coming to his defense.
The media is portraying Venkayya Naidu in a poor light over the special status issue and Venkayya told the BJP leaders in the State that they were doing nothing to defend him except for holding a few press conferences for the sake of formality and promising that AP’s interests would be protected.
Venkayya also mentioned an interesting fact. He said that the TDP was claiming benefit for all funds sanctioned by the Center as a part of normal Center-State allowances.
Responding to this, the BJP leaders are believed to have said that the information about any small allowance to the State was first being released to the TDP who were seizing the initiative.
“If we are not informed first, how can we see to it that BJP gets the credit especially when you praise Chandrababu to the skies every time that you visit AP?” questioned the BJP leaders.
