The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials have labeled well-known actor Nagarjuna’s N Convention Centre as illegal. They have confirmed that Nagarjuna had encroached upon the lake next to the N Convention Centre.
Though the issue has been making headlines in the past one week, there was talk that Nagarjuna and his staff were trying to lobby hard to get their name cleared in the matter.
It was also reported that some well-connected film people were trying to bail out Nagarjuna and help him retain the prime property which has become a much sought-after place for high-profile weddings and gatherings.
After completing the survey, the officials got a special plate made and the same is being stuck to the wall outside the plush property.
If a property is marked in red ink as illegal construction, it will hardly be a matter of time before a notice will be issued to Nagarjuna.
Once that is done, Nagarjuna will have a week’s time to respond and put forth his case. Then, the Corporation will take a final call on what needs to be done next.
