Telangana Advocate General Ramakrishna Reddy who is representing the Telangana government has said that the construction of N Convention Centre is illegal. He said that the Centre was constructed in 2010 and later Nagarjuna and his staff had applied for regularization.
Ramakrishna said that the GHMC officials went to N Convention Centre for survey and that cannot be criticized or opposed.
Meanwhile, the lawyer who was representing the N Convention Centre claimed that Nagarjuna had bought the property after proper documentation. He questioned how the authorities could go to the property without issuing prior notice.
He also maintained that there was no data regarding the actual dimensions of the Tammudi Kunta lake which is now under scrutiny. The hearing for the case has been postponed for tomorrow.
