Narsapuram MP Gokaraju Ganagaraju has donated half an acre of land to BJP voluntarily for a guest house.
The land is situated on the other side of Vijayawada which incidentally falls under the capital zone. Few days back, Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao was surprised to see MP Bhavan and many other huge buildings on the banks of river Krishna and had spoken about the same.
Now, Gangaraju donating half an acre has acquired significance as Gangaraju happens to own huge tracts of land in the same area.
Now one does not know if his entire land falls under the capital zone, but he seems to have taken appropriate care to avoid the ruling TDP from eyeing the land by making this token donation for his party.
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu will be coming down to lay the foundation stone for the guest house soon.
