It looks like former minister and senior Telangana political leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu is getting frustrated over the failure of his attempts to get back into active politics.
Mothkupalli, who was expelled from the Telugu Desam Party for suggesting that its Telangana unit should be merged with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, has failed to get the appointment of Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan despite his attempts.
But even before he got the appointment, he leaked it to the media that he was going to meet the power star.
It led to the speculation that he was going to join Jana Sena and that he might be made Jana Sena’s Telangana unit president.
But when the meeting eventually did not happen, Mothkupalli got frustrated.
“I wanted to meet Pawan only as part of my efforts to consolidate anti-Chandrababu Naidu forces and build up a strong opposition against the TDP. But, it was projected in a wrong way that I was joining the Jana Sena. I will also try to meet YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as part of my efforts,” he said.
Apparently, Mothkupalli realised that there are no takers for him in both the states.
Despite his praises for TRS president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, there was no invitation from the TRS.
He cannot join the Congress party, as he is against the same right from the beginning. And there was no response from Jana Sena and the YSRC, as of now.
“I have lost interest in the state politics. I will decide my course of action after consulting my followers and well-wishers. I will not join any party without taking the consent of the people of Alair constituency,” Mothkupalli said.
