More than Naidu, Pawan is hunting YSRCP leaders?

More than Naidu, Pawan is hunting YSRCP leaders?

It has been nearly seven months since the Telugu Desam Party-led coalition government was formed in Andhra Pradesh with experienced N Chandrababu Naidu at the helm, assisted by dynamic Pawan Kalyan as his deputy.

Both the leaders are struggling to deal with the financial irregularities allegedly committed during the YSR Congress party regime.

Interestingly, contrary to the initial expectations, Naidu has been going cautiously in targeting the YSRCP leaders for their alleged acts of omission and commission.

His cautious approach in cases like burning of files at Madanapalle and the solar power purchase deal with Adani has surprised many.

He appears more measured, focusing on projects like Amaravati and Polavaram while steering clear of vendetta politics.

Surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan appears to be more aggressive in certain matters.

Initially, the deputy chief minister was focussing on reviews, reading materials, and understanding his department's workings.

Pawan Kalyan has been particularly aggressive in addressing YSRCP-era irregularities, such as the Saraswati Power land issue and the recent allegations against Sajjala's family estate. In comparison,

On Thursday, Pawan Kalyan ordered an investigation into allegations of forest and DKT (assigned) land encroachments linked to the Sajjala family's estate in Kadapa.

The estate, spread over approximately 200 acres near Subbalagidiki village in CK Dinne Mandal, is allegedly under the control of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy's brother's son, Sandeep Reddy, and family members through benami transactions.

Reports claim that forest and DKT lands were illegally occupied, with about 40 acres of forest land in Survey No. 1629 under dispute. Security measures, including fencing and restricted access, were imposed.

Nearby, about 5 acres in Survey No. 1612 were allegedly added to the estate, and villagers who questioned these actions were reportedly threatened.

Revenue and forest department officials, along with police forces, have been conducting surveys over the past three days.

Pawan Kalyan has instructed officials to submit a detailed report identifying illegally occupied forest lands and their current status.
