Dharmendra Pradhan is the current Minister of State (with Independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas in the Narendra Modi led NDA Government.
He is referred to as the most “lucky“ petroleum minister India has ever had, as global fuel prices have been softening ever since he took up the job.
As a result of this softening, he has been presiding over frequent price cuts of petrol.With talk of a reshuffle in the air, he could well be spared a change for this predilection.
