The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday stated that its Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi does not need film actor Salman Khan to boost his image.
Speaking to media, BJP State President G Kishan Reddy said that there was no comparison between the stature of Narendra Modi and Salman Khan.
He said that Modi does not need Salman Khan to boost his image among minorities or others. In contrast, he said that it was Salman Khan who elevated his image by meeting Modi.
Kishan Reddy condemned the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen for politicising the meeting Modi and Salman Khan. He alleged that the MIM was trying to communalise the atmosphere in the city.
