Hyderabad: YSR Congress MLAs from all the districts have met Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his residence and expressed their loyalty to the Party.
Later speaking to reporters they said: "it is the manipulative politics of Chandrababu Naidu that has been in full play and with his sustained two-year efforts by pressing all the tricks to the trade to lure members from the opposition had yielded very little results.
In Telangana 10 out of his 15 MLAs have crossed the floor and he is unable to digest it and has been speaking incoherently. Some of the weaklings from our party must have left the Party, but we have full faith in the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and will adhere to his value based politics", they said.
MLAs Kakni Goardhan Reddy, K Sridhar Reddy, Chvidreddy Bhaskar Reddy, Narayanaswamy and G Eswari addressed the press conference and affirmed that YSR Congress will win the next elections hands down.
Naidu should vacate house
In wake of the High Court admitting the PIL and issuing notices to the illegal occupants on the Krishna river front, where Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with other wealthy people have encroached land, YSR Congress has said that they should immediately vacate the premises.
"The High Court had issued notices to the residents who have encroached land on the Krishna river front where Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu too has built his residence and his son, as per reports, has a house in a spread of a two acre land and we demand all the encroachers to vacate the premises immediately and cooperate with the legal process," Party MLA A Ramakrishna Reddy told reporters here on Monday.
I had earlier written letters to the district collectors of Krishna and Guntur and other concerned officials that some wealthy people have encroached the land on the Krishna river front and have built 30 to 40 villas illegally and were living since February 2015.
State Ministers P Pulla Rao and Naryana have inspected the area said that action would be taken immediately but things have changed after Chandrababu Naidu decided to occupy one of the villas matters have changed.
Chandrababu Naidu has even spent Rs 70 to Rs 80 crores for refurbishing the house and his son too has occupied the neighbouirng house which is in an extent of two acres.
While Chandrababu Naidu government has vacated poor people at Mangalagiri and other places though they have been paying taxes on the pretext of laying roads or other such development activity, Chandrababu Naidu and others have been living in illegal structures.
We demand that in wake of the High Court order, Chandrababu Naidu and others should vacate the house and cooperate with the legal proceedings, he said.
