The statements made by Andhra Pradesh ministers are rather intriguing and amusing. Almost all the ministers constantly complain that the state is in deep trouble and that its financial situation is rather pathetic.
And in the next instance, they claim that they are working towards making Andhra Pradesh swarnandhra Pradesh.
The latest one to join the bandwagon is Women Empowerment Minister Peetala Sujata.
She started off her speech by saying that the state was in deep trouble. Well, that did not come as a surprise. But immediately after that, she promised that she will develop Aangan Waadi Schools on par with the corporate schools.
If one actually looks at the real picture, then the situation in Aangan Waadi Schools is pathetic.
The staff that works there is paid bare minimum wages. Given the bleak situation, Sujata claiming to turn them into corporate style schools is rather disturbing.
Isn’t this taking the common man for a joy ride?
