Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Monday wondered about Seemandhra leaders’ claim of still holding the last ball to finish the bifurcation math in favour of Samaikyandhra.
“When the match itself was over, where is the question of holding the last ball?” he asked.
Taking pot shots against the Chief Minister, the Rajya Sabha member said Kiran Kumar Reddy should have said openly declared that he was firm against bifurcation of the State when the Congress High Command was preparing the road map for Telangana formation.
He also had a dig at Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal by stating that a person takes up surveys all over the country should make a survey about his own capacity in Vijayawada.
Stating that there would be no loss to the ruling Congress if the YSR Congress chief organised “Samaikya Shankaravam” in Hyderabad, Hanumanth Rao said Jagan might hire people from Kadapa, Guntur and Anantapur districts because he had a lot of tainted money with him but he wouldn’t be able to attract even 10 per cent of people from the Telangana region.
