The senior TDP leaders are of the opinion that it is very difficult for the party to face the next elections with the present strength.
They firmly say that they need to have a better perception to throw to the public who are contented with the welfare schemes by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
So, they made it clear to Chandrababu that bringing in Jr NTR onto the board can be the only saving grace looking at the available opportunities.
Though Chandrababu tried to explain about his tie up with Pawan Kalyan to consolidate the anti-YCP strengths, the TDP leaders emphatically said that it wouldn't be sufficient.
Some leaders also mentioned that they are not confident of contesting in the next polls with the present set up.
So, with this pressure, Chandrababu called Jr NTR as per a source. Though the actor responded positively he spoke out his heart without any filter and indirectly made two demands, for him to step into the party.
It seems he said that Lokesh's attempts to take the party's steering should be stopped now and even Balakrishna should be kept out of focus for sometime.
Will Chandrababu accept these two demands from Jr NTR? Can he digest the act of putting his son and brother-in-law away from the main picture heeding to the demand of Jr NTR? Many thought that it could never happen.
But surprisingly, heeding to the demands of Jr NTR, party supremo CBN confined Lokesh to the condolence tour. This made Lokesh furious.
We have to see if he keeps Balakrishna also out of focus. As of now there are some welcoming signs for Jr NTR's entry into TDP as its second in command.
