Yes, Nara Lokesh is all set to become the full time leader now. Well, so does that mean he was only part-time leader till now.
The answer is no. In fact, he is the de-facto chief of Telugu Desam Party and he has been the man behind the scenes ever since Babu came to power after 2014 elections.
Already, there is talk that for the 2019 elections, Lokesh will be the chief minister candidate as Babu is expected to smoothly transit power by then.
But that is almost four years away. So meanwhile, talk is that Babu is all set to give Lokesh a credible post within the party. Though Lokesh runs the show, he hasn't had a formal post till now.
Now, Babu is preparing to announce him as the chief secretary of the party which will also give Lokesh a lot more powers to handle the party his style.
This will also mean that Lokesh will be looking after the party activities in both Telugu speaking states.
So, be it films or politics, it is surely raining heirs in Telugu speaking states.
