Former minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and his elder brother Anam Vivekananda Reddy had enjoyed a lot of reputation when the Congress party was in power. They virtually ruled the Nellore politics and decimated their rivals.
Yet, Anam brothers had to surrender before a new entrant into politics like Nara Lokesh Babu, present general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party. Ever since the brother joined the TDP a couple of years ago, they have not been getting along well with the already senior TDP leaders and are trying to dominate the politics as ever.
But since they are new to the TDP, the local TDP leaders are not ready to accept their domination. And this is resulting in ego clashes in the party.
At a recent party meeting in Nellore, the Anam brothers entered into argument and fight with the local corporators and that led to clashes in the presence of observer Gorantla Buchiah Chowdary.
Following a report from Gorantla, Lokesh summoned both Anam brothers and gave them strong warning. He reportedly told them that if they cannot gel with the other leaders in the party, they would have no future in the party. The shocked Anam brothers left the meeting in a huff, say sources.
