There is a young leader who is close to Nara Lokesh. He was a key figure in the TDP student union and secured a nominated post when the alliance government came to power. This further established his closeness with Lokesh.
Lokesh assigned him to develop the Sports sector, but critics claim that he is busy working as a detective observing the alliance MLAs.
He has been working towards complaining to Lokesh about the Tirupati and Chandragiri MLAs, Arani Srinivasulu and Pulivarti Nani, respectively, regarding their business dealings and alleged illegal activities.
TDP and Janasena leaders in the combined Chittoor district are dissatisfied with this young leader. They are questioning why he is being given so much importance while other capable leaders in the region are being sidelined.
He is also propagating that he is a close relative of Chandrababu and thus expects to secure the Chandragiri MLA ticket in the upcoming elections.
Additionally, he is campaigning that if Pulivarti Nani is given the Chandragiri ticket again, TDP will face significant damage. This has enraged the Pulivarti Nani couple.
According to sources, he is also allegedly involved with the TTD, influencing senior officers to decide who should be given darshan tickets.
The power struggle in the Chittoor region is intensifying, and observers warn that it could cause significant trouble for TDP in the future.
