Lokesh assigned him to develop the Sports sector, but critics claim that he is busy working as a detective observing the alliance MLAs.
He has been working towards complaining to Lokesh about the Tirupati and Chandragiri MLAs, Arani Srinivasulu and Pulivarti Nani, respectively, regarding their business dealings and alleged illegal activities.

According to sources, he is also allegedly involved with the TTD, influencing senior officers to decide who should be given darshan tickets.
