'Learn From KCR,' Pawan Tells CBN

Pawan Kalyan indirectly praising KCR has given rise to the speculation that the latter might be trying to patch up with KCR, but in doing so he might have dished out the ultimate insult to Chandrababu Naidu, although inadvertently.

“KCR convinced Metro Rail authorities to change the alignment as per the objections raised by the locals and also to protect heritage sites. The AP government can also find a solution to the issues raised by local farmers in the capital region. Why is it not possible to find a solution if they try?” questioned Pawan Kalyan.

This might seem like a fine argument but in reality it is completely flawed! KCR demanded the realignment only because of pressure from the MIM for the latter’s own political benefits.

Heritage structures had nothing to do with it. L&T also threatened to walk out of the project because of this, but it is speculated that KCR pacified them behind doors.

The ESI Hospital which KCR is seeking to shift is also a heritage structure. When the media pointed this out to KCR, he responded that there was no point in putting up with useless heritage structures that hinder development.

There is nothing wrong in asking the government to change its decision regarding the farmers, but comparison with KCR is surely taking things a bit too far! KCR is clearly no saint or a ‘Mustafa Kemal Pasha’. He is trying his best to derail the progress of AP through denying water and continuing his tirade against Seemandhra people.

Against this backdrop, asking CBN to learn from KCR is like asking Modi to learn from Nawaz Sharif, as far as the Seemandhra people are concerned.

It sends out the signal that KCR is doing a good job whereas CBN is not. Wonder how CBN will take this piece of gyaan from power star.
