Congress MP Lagadapati Rajgopal on Friday threatened to launch a dharna in front of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi, if the Telangana bill is introduced in Parliament.
‘Since I am a SamAikyandhra protagonist, I will not be afraid of anybody’, he roared. He said we will oppose bifurcation as the Centre was going ahead for division of the State, in spite of opposition by majority people, he said.
“I am ready to do anything for keeping the state undivided,” he said and warned that he will not hesitate to sit in front of the residence of the Prime Minister, Home Minister or for that matter the party president Sonia Gandhi.
There should be sufficient time for debate in the state assembly and members should discuss the bill, Lagadapati said.
