After keeping silent for the last three months, Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao appears to be back with his lobbying techniques to stall the Telangana Statehood process.
KVP on Tuesday called on AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and impressed upon the need to keep Andhra Pradesh united in the overall interests of Telugu people.
Speaking to the media after his meeting with the AICC leader, Ramachandra Rao said he had made it clear to the Central party leader that the decision to bifurcate the State was detrimental to the interests of the people.
He said only when the State remained united, the interests and welfare of the Telugus could be well guarded and protected.
Interestingly, he was accompanied by Union Minister from Seemandhra J D Seelam who too urged Digvijay to give a final thought on the State bifurcation.
