KTR To Develop Hyderabad On The Lines Of NYC

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao promises that Hyderabad would be unrecognizable within a year. Insisting that he has some huge plans for the development of Hyderabad, he revealed in an interview to an English daily, his government was planning to use the unique advantage that Hyderabad has vis-à-vis Chennai and Bangalore and push projects that would ensure growth and prosperity.

KTR said that political stability coupled with the enthusiasm among the people and leaders following the emergence of a new state will help realize the big dreams that the TRS government has for the city.

He pointed out that the real estate rates are already two to three times higher in Hyderabad than in Chennai and Bangalore.

Simultaneously, his government has plans to develop a bank for technological excellence and IT sector he revealed.

Another plan was to develop the city into a tourist hub and as a part of that endeavour various film, music and entertainment festivals and events would be organized in the coming days he said.

KTR said that the city will provide even non-critical facilities to the citizens on the lines of New York City very soon.

One interesting point made by KTR was to construct a hanging bridge over Durgam Cheruvu. Similarly, just like the Union Square in New York, a Square was being planned near the Biodiversity Park, said KTR. Finally, KTR concluded by saying that under the abled leadership of the present government, all the plans would be realized as per schedule.

Incidentally, KTR lived in the US for nearly 7 years and he seems to be using his experience there to roll out a developmental plan for the city of Hyderabad.
