After a long time, Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao will get a chance to meet his “friend” – YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the World Economic Forum meeting being held at Davos in Switzerland on Sunday.
Reports in a section of media have said KTR and Jagan have got in touch with each other much before their scheduled visit to Davos and have decided to have a one-on-one meeting on some evening during the five-day event.
According to these reports, KTR and Jagan had come to an understanding on how to neutralise their enemies – Revanth Reddy in Telangana and N Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra.
“They are expected to discuss the strategies to win the next assembly elections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh again. Both of them will see mutual help in neutralising the TDP in Andhra Pradesh and Congress in Telangana,” sources said.
Interestingly, it will be the first time for Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the WEF meeting, while KTR, as the Telangana minister is known, attended the meetings twice in the past – in 2018 and 2020 held in the month of January.
KTR left on a three-day visit to the United Kingdom on May 17, after which he would be leaving for Davos to attend the WEF meeting. On the other hand, Jagan left for Davos today morning.
