Some section of people belonging to Tollywood reportedly told KTR that if the latter arranged a meeting or press conference, they would be more than happy to endorse the TRS.
Thanking them for their help, KTR however declined the offer. Since the industry in main is dominated by one particular community, KTR felt that an open show of support by these people would affect their careers as it would ruffle the dominant community.
He further asked them to support the TRS in a silent way and said that the TRS was well placed currently to make a mark on its own. Of course, this makes it clear that those who approached KTR obviously do not belong to that community.
Nevertheless, it is interesting to see people from the industry putting aside regional differences to check mate the hegemony of this community in the industry.
