It looks like Telangana joint action committee chairman Professor Kodandaram is gradually inclining towards the Congress party and might play a crucial role in the 2019 elections.
According to indications from his camp, Kodandaram is providing the intellectual support to the Telangana Congress leaders on various issues of public concern so that they can take on Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Subsequently, Kodandaram may play active role in the Congress, say sources.
Sources said Kodandaram will be the major attraction at the power-point presentation to be made by the Congress party on redesigning of irrigation projects at Ravi Narayana Reddy auditorium on Wednesday.
Kodandaram would point out several glaring irregularities in the concept of projects’ redesigning, much to the discomfiture of the TRS government.
The TJAC chairman is apparently angry with the KCR government for tapping his telephones. He described said there was no difference between KCR and Chandrababu Naidu in cheating public with false promises. This has brought him closer to the Congress ranks, say sources.
