Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram might not be interested in launching a new political party, but he seems to be determined to pull down the K Chandrasekhar Rao government in Telangana.
On Sunday, Kodandaram called upon the people to strive for a “political change” in the newly formed Telangana state, as the present dispensation has failed to fulfil their aspirations. He wants a replacement of present Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Interestingly, Kodandaram made these observations at a meeting in Mahbubnagar during the 90th day padayatra of Communist Party of India (Marxist) state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, while the TRS leaders are accusing him of being the puppet of the Congress party.
He said the people were so desperate that they want a political change in the state and there was a need for overhauling Telangana politics.
Accusing that TRS’s government development model is benefiting few real estate developers, he demanded that the development should be centred on people.
Referring to large number of leaders have been migrating to the ruling party, he accused that they are defecting for the sake of money.
