Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy gets a last chance to stall the process of Telangana formation, when he goes to Delhi to interact with the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana on Thursday.
The GoM has invited the Chief Minister to discuss the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, the Chief Minister is likely to meet GoM at 8 AM and he would be given an opportunity to spell out his stand on bifurcation and other issues related to formation of Telangana.
Kiran has already opposed the division of State openly and listed out several problems that might crop up due to formation of Telangana.
The GoM, which has heard the views of different political parties including the ruling Congress party, has invited the Chief Minister separately in view of his negative stand on Telangana.
“It will be the last chance for the CM to convince the GoM against the State bifurcation. It remains to be seen who will prevail over whom,” sources said.
