Kiran Toeing High Command Line!

Kiran Toeing High Command Line!

That Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is dancing to the tunes of Congress high command has once again been evident when he tried to bring pressure on rebel candidate K V V Satyanarayana Raju alias Chaitanya Raju to withdraw from contest in the Rajya Sabha elections.

Raju told media on Wednesday that the Chief Minister had called him last night and asked him to withdraw from contest in the RS polls.

But, Raju told Kiran that he had entered the race only to highlight the Samaikyandhra sentiment and he had the support of several Seemandhra Congress MLAs.

“If Kiran is a supporter of Samaikyandhra, he should support me,” Raju said.

However, Kiran continued to bring pressure on Raju to drop from contest in favour of the official Congress candidates.

The Chief Minister had a meeting with Congress candidate K V P Ramachandra Rao in his chambers and later, KVP had a meeting with Raju to request him to withdraw.

Kiran also spoke to Adala Prabhakar Reddy, another rebel and requested him to withdraw from contest.

If Kiran is really revolting against the Congress high command, why should he bring pressure on Raju who stood for Samaikyandhra?

Why did he not question the high command’s decision to field only three candidates, though it had a chance to win the fourth seat as well?

Why is Kiran silent on Congress high command leaving the fourth seat to Telangana Rashtra Samithi?

Well, the answers are not beyond one’s comprehension: Kiran is hand in glove with the high command!
