
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy might be getting ready to step down from the post by defying the party high command on the Telangana issue, but his close confidants are putting up a brave posture in support of him.
State Minister Pithani Satyanrayana on Friday praised the Chief Minister on the successful completion of three years in office. He said that Kiran had made enormous contribution in the overall development of the State. "He perfectly handled statehood agitations, economic crisis, cyclones and other major crisis during his tenure," he said.
Pithani said that Kiran Kumar Reddy faced all the challenges with courage. Stating that the Chief Minister maintained good relationship with all the ministers, he rubbished media reports of him having difference with his cabinet colleagues. He said several steps were taken for the development of women, youth, BCs, SCs STs, minorities and other sections.
He claimed that Kiran Kumar Reddy would lead the party in 2014 General Elections in Andhra Pradesh.
