Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has been giving the impression that he would not allow the assembly to pass the Telangana bill, is now seeking the cooperation of the YSR Congress party to debate the bill.
Apparently realizing that the Centre would go ahead with the Telangana bill without any hassles if there is no debate on the same, Kiran on Tuesday requested the YSR Congress party legislators to see that there is a debate on Andhra Pradesh State Reorganization Bill 2013.
“I appeal to the leaders of all political parties, especially YSR Congress party, to cooperate in this regard. The House is supposed to conduct debate on the issues every minute,” he said, adding that wasting of time would be of no use.
The Chief Minister maintained that the debate will be continued and all issues must be discussed in the House.
The Seemandhra Ministers, including Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Raghuveera Reddy, Sailajanath and others, however, they alleged that the Seemandhra TDP and YSRCP members were disrupting the House from conducting the debate.
Disrupting the House will be amounting to disrespecting democracy process, they added.
