Now that caretaker Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has resigned from his post, MLA seat and the Congress party, he is no more a leader for the party in the State.
Naturally, the Congress leaders have started removing the pictures of Kiran from all the publicity posters and hoardings carrying his pictures.
On Sunday, former minister Shabbir Ali and Labour Minister Danam Nagender replaced Kiran Kumar Reddy’s photo with that of Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on the hoardings and posters near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Shabbir Ali said Kiran was like a blinking lamp and nobody would support him in the Seemandhra region.
“We will organize victory and thanks giving meetings in the entire region from Tuesday”, he added.
He also said Sonia Gandhi and AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi would visit Hyderabad in the first week of March as they fulfilled the six-decade old dream of Telangana people.
