Kiran Not Yet Ready For Delhi Protest?

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is still undecided on staging a protest rally in New Delhi against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

This was hinted at by Minister C Ramachandraiah who along with other Seemandhra leaders had a talk with the Chief Minister on Saturday.

Ramachandraiah made it clear that they were still examining the Chief Minister’s proposed protest at the national capital against bifurcation of the State.

He said Seemandhra leaders had sought an appointment with President Pranab Mukherjee on February 4 and 5 to express their Samaikyandhra stance.

However, the decision on Kiran’s protest was yet to be taken, he said.

“We will apprise the President of the resolution which unanimously rejected the Telangana Draft Bill in the Assembly and Council. There shall not be an atmosphere to negate the Legislature’s decision through voice vote against bifurcation of the State,” he added.
