Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy called for a meeting of Seemandhra Congress leaders at Gandhi Bhavan at 4.30 pm on Monday to discuss the strategy to be adopted during the all-party meeting being convend by the Group of Ministers on the Telangana issue next week.
However, Kiran has decided not to have any meeting with the Telangana Congress leaders, as he is dead against the bifurcation of State.
On the other hand, Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana called for a separate meeting of ministers and other party leaders from Telangana leaders to discuss the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting with the Telangana leaders would be held at 11 am at Gandhi Bhavan.
It clearly shows that Kiran has developed contempt towards the Telangana Congress leaders and indications are that he would send a separate report to the GoM on bifurcation issue, strongly opposing the division. On the other hand, Botsa would send both the pro- and anti-Telangana reports separately.
