Both Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu are coverts of Congress party president Sonia Gandhi working for bifurcation of the State, YSR Congress party alleged on Monday.
Party MLA and spokesman G Srikanth Reddy said both Congress and TDP leaders were making baseless allegations against YSR Congress party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy out of pure frustration, as they were unable to withstand the success of Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting.
“Both Naidu and Kiran are covertly cooperating with the Congress high command in facilitating smooth bifurcation of the State. We understand that Kiran Kumar accepted the position of CM by agreeing to the party high command’s condition that he will cooperate with the bifurcation of the State,” he said.
Srikanth Reddy asked Kiran Kumar Reddy to convene the assembly at least now on the AP Formation Day on November 1 to adopt a resolution in favour of keeping the State united and prove his pro-united AP stand.
Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu also should withdraw his support letter given for bifurcating the State, he demanded.
