Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is only making guest appearance in the flood-affected areas rather than taking effective steps to provide relief to the flood victims.
This was alleged by Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday.
Accusing the State government of failing to help the victims of the recent floods and heavy rains, the TDP president said the Chief Minister had visited the rain-affected places just like a “guest.”
Naidu who visited the rain-affected areas in different districts, condemned the attitude of the State government which had not yet taken rehabilitation works in the areas which were badly affected in the rains.
“The functioning of the Chief Minister exposed that he lacks understanding to tackle the situation created by natural calamities. He has totally failed to give assurances of help to the victims and in giving guidelines to the officials,” Naidu said.
