Kiran Kumar Reddy has been in the news for taking on the Congress High Command and for his anti-bifurcation stance.
But following a comment by senior TDP leader Keshav who called Sonia Gandhi Italian Gandhi, Kiran Kumar Reddy quickly jumped to support his party president.
He said Sonia Gandhi chose to reject the PM’s post and willingly took up the UPA chairperson’s post.
Responding to Keshav, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that he will clarify all issues later in his speech. He also said it was inappropriate to drag Sonia Gandhi’s name.
This is probably the first time that Kiran Kumar Reddy spoke in favour of Sonia Gandhi after the bifurcation issue had surfaced.
Meanwhile, Keshav said that the state cannot be divided for Sonia Gandhi’s son or Vijayamma’s son or for KCR’s son.
