Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha has alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was speaking against the Telangana issue.
Addressing the ‘Telangana Jaithrayatra’ meeting in Bodhan on Friday, Rajanarasimha said a leader of the State should behave equally towards all.
“But the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was behaving differently though he is the Chief Minister of the three regions. It is not proper for him to show disparity towards a particular region,” he pointed out.
He said the Congress had rendered justice to the people of the region by announcing Telangana State. He made it clear that the process of creation of separate Telangana will be completed within two or three months. He said the Congress alone has guts to fulfill its word. He said the Seemandhra movement was artificial engineered by Seemandhra capitalists.
He thanked AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood for Telangana despite stiff opposition from the Seemandhra leaders.
