Telangana political JAC convener Prof Kodandaram on Sunday accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of lacking moral values in stoutly opposing formation of separate Telangana State.
Speaking at the seminar on “Telangana Reconstruction” organised by Telangana Netizens Forum, Kodandaram demanded that Kiran Kumar Reddy resign from Chief Minister’s post and lead Seemandhra agitation if he has any self-respect and moral values.
He lashed out at the Seemandhra leaders for seeking more time for the debate on Telangana Bill with ulterior motives.
However, Kodandaram seems to have forgotten that the same rule applies to him. He should have resigned from his professor post before leading the Telangana movement. Instead, he has chosen to rejoin the duties in the Osmania University from Monday, since the Telangana formation has now become more or less certain.
