The talk about CM Kiran Kumar Reddy submitting his resignation and floating a new political party has been on since a while and now it might actually materialize.
However, the estimation that half of the Congress leaders from Seemandhra region would walk out and join hands with Kiran seems to be misfiring.

According to the unrevealed agreement, TRS is merging with Congress now that Telangana is granted. If that happens then definitely it is going to be Congress government in Telangana.
Keeping that in mind, many Congress leaders who hail from Seemandhra are not willing to resign from the party.
As such, almost all the Seemandhra based Congress leaders have their maximum properties and wealth in Hyderabad.
Because that would be safeguarded since Congress will come to power in Telangana, if they stick around they have nothing to lose so that is why they are not willing to join with Kiran.
The way things are going, Kiran might just be left alone.
