Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy once again raised his voice against the high command, this time in a stronger tone, for deciding to divide Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana State.
“The Delhi bosses have not only turned a deaf ear to our arguments, but have also become blind to the historic agitation waged by the people for over 100 days to keep the State united. And they have also become dumb to the questions posed by us on why they are dividing the state,” Kiran said, addressing a public meeting at Vijayawada as part of inaugurating Pulichintala project.
Kiran sought to know why the Congress high command sought to divide the State.
“Is it for wooing Jaganmohan Reddy to make him merge his party with the Congress or KCR? If the high command wants, let it make anybody as CM – it can be KCR or Jagan or even Chandrababu Naidu, but it should take back its decision to divide the State,” he said.
The Chief Minister accused the Congress high command of cutting down the same branch on which it is sitting.
“What is the crime committed by the people of Andhra? Why are they being punished for sending maximum number of MPs to the Congress kitty in the last 10 years?” he asked.
