Senior Congress leader and former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday dubbed the decision of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to strip Civil Supplies Minister D Sridhar Babu of his additional portfolio of Legislative Affairs as a “foolish” act.
Talking to the media on Friday, Venkat Reddy said stripping Sridhar Babu of his Legislative Affairs portfolio by the Chief Minister was not insult to the latter but an insult to the entire people of the Telangana region.
Komatiredy advised the Telangana ministers to resign en masse and step up efforts for achievement of separate Telangana State.
The former minister lashed out at Kiran Kumar Reddy saying that the latter has scant respect for the President and the Constitution of the world’s largest democracy.
Branding Kiran Kumar Reddy as a corrupt monster, Komatireddy alleged that the Chief Minister resorted to corrupt deals worth several crores of rupees in finalizing tenders of the drinking water schemes sanctioned for his native Chittoor district.
He also disclosed that he would be filing a PIL in the High Court against the Chief Minister for his corrupt practices and irregularities.
