Apparently realising that there is none in the Telugu Desam Party to come in support of him, Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister K E Krishnamurthy backtracked on his statements against Naidu and blamed it on the media for distorting his words.
It was only a couple of days ago that KE openly expressed his dissatisfaction over chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for denying party ticket to his younger brother in the MLC polls.
He even wondered when the entire family of J C Diwakar Reddy could get plum posts, why Naidu was ignoring his family.
He even alleged that no one from backward classes were selected as candidates for the MLC posts from Rayalaseema.
However, his statement incurred the wrath of Naidu and moreover, there were no takers for his allegations, as both his brothers had enjoyed plum posts in the past.
So, he immediately issued a statement saying that he his family have a lot of affection towards a visionary chief minister like N Chandrababu Naidu.
Stating that he was given the Deputy Chief Minister portfolio as he hails from the Backward Classes, he said due to some equations, the TDP has not given the required representation to BCs in the Legislative Council.
