The five-day Maha Rudra Sahitha Sahasra Maha Chandi Yagam taken up by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from January 21 concluded with Poornahuthi at his farmhouse in Erravelli village of Siddipet on Friday.
It was a grandiose event by KCR supposedly for the overall prosperity of the state and the country. There were reports which said the chief minister had performed the yagam to fulfil his ambition of playing a bigger role at the national level, besides of course continuing the good work in Telangana.
And it appears the yagam has started yielding good results immediately. Even as KCR was performing the poornahuti ritual, there was a message brought to him by his officials stating that the Union ministry of environment, forests and climate change has given permissions for the forest clearance of the Palamuru Rangareddy Irrigation Project.
A letter written by Central Forest Deputy Inspector General Sravan Kumar Varam to the Special Chief Secretary of Telangana was shown to KCR, who expressed happiness over the development, which had been pending for quite a long time.
He conveyed his thanks to the Union Minister for Environment and Forests Harsh Vardhan and appreciated the efforts of the officials of the Irrigation and Forest Departments.
At the same time, there was also another message to KCR. It was about Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav deciding to come to Hyderabad to discuss further strategies about the formation of a federal front.
Definitely, it would be a good news for KCR who is nurturing ambition of making it big at the national level!
