Hyderabad: In two years of Telangana rule, what has been KCR's tallest achievement as a leader apart from continuing with his politics of division and setting up caste and religion based Bhavans and dividing up Telangana into still further districts?
Well, his tallest achievement is unfurling the second tallest national flag at Sanjeeviah Park on the second Formation Day. The flag was hoisted on a 291 foot-high pole and the whole arrangement cost Rs 2 crore.
Telangana which was surplus State at the time of bifurcation is now in debt thanks to the mammoth projects being undertaken.
Until these projects bear fruit and benefit the people, the only thing that KCR can take credit for is establishing the TRS hegemony in Telangana at the expense of the TDP, Congress and YSRCP.
Political stability should normally result in development, will that prove to be the case in Telangana?
