KCR's Farmhouse Becomes A Big Pilgrimage Centre!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's farmhouse on city outskirts in Erravelli in Medak district has turned to be a popular pilgrimage centre, thanks to his ongoing Aayutha Chandi Maha Yagam.

While 50,000 people attended yagam on first day on Wednesday, it doubled to one lakh on Thursday, thanks to public holiday on account of Miladunnabi.

Large number of devotees from Hyderabad and neighbouring districts Ranga Reddy, Mahabubngar, Medak and Nalgonda thronged to KCR's farmhouse to take part in yagam.

While food arrangements were made for 35,000 people on Thursday, the organisers were forced to make arrangements for one lakh later.

Despite huge rush, everything went on smoothly as officials and police made elaborate arrangements.

With more holidays from December 25 to 27 on account of Christmas, Boxing Day and Sunday, organisers expect huge rush of devotees to KCR's farmhouse.

While RTC has already arranged special buses, travel agencies are doing brisk business with good bookings of cars and SUVs.

Interestingly, people form Andhra Pradesh are also coming to take part in yagam, which is being held on a grand scale, which was never heard of in recent times with seers and rithviks from all the states performing yagam.

On Thursday, union ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya, Supreme court judge Justice Chalameshwar took part in yagam.
