TTDP working president A Revanth Reddy said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was performing Aayutha Chandi Yagam in December as he fears 'death'.
Revanth said KCR was suffering from various ailments and was not keeping well off late due to which he was confining mostly to his farmhouse on city outskirts or at his camp office in Begumpet.
Revanth said due to his ill-health he is keeping away from Secretariat and attending office once in a month for the past five months.
Revanth told that TRS leaders themselves are talking openly about KCR suffering from severe kidney related disease and he is fearing death and to increase his life span he planned a grand Aayutha Chandi Yagam at the cost of Rs 100 crore public money.
Revanth demanded KCR to issue a clarification on the status of his health in the wake of media reports on his ill-health and the purpose of conducting Chandi Yagam.
He also said not only because of ill-health, KCR also fears death from his near and dear ones besides Maoists.
