Ruling TRS leaders are upbeat over Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao getting overwhelming response from the public in Amaravati when he delivered speech during the foundation laying programme for the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
They say they never expected such an applause from the public while the police and intelligence officials gave a report to AP and TS governments that KCR’s presence may invite trouble in the function as AP people are angry at KCR for bifurcation of AP and AP losing capital city Hyderabad to Telangana.
But all that was proved wrong when public clapped continuously and listened to KCR's speech from starting to end though it was for a brief period of about 15 minutes.
The TRS leaders are hopeful that the ‘bonding’ done by KCR with AP people with his Amaravati vist will yield good results for TRS in ensuing GHMC polls since a major chunk of voters in GHMC limits belong to Seemandhra region.
Only time will tell, how far these predictions made my TRS leaders turn out to be correct.
