Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is running the government with the help of Andhra people.
This was the allegation made by former minister and BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday.
“Andhra soul (Congress Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao) embraced KCR. Andhra Soul ruling the Telangana State,” Nagam said, in a press conference.
Finding fault with the government for allotting crores of rupees to the festivals, Nagam pointed out that the government has money to allot for the festivals but the same government has no money to allot for the irrigation projects.
“People have to celebrate festivals and not the government”, he opined.
Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao clarify how the ‘rich State’ has turned into a ‘poor State,’ Nagam asked the former to release a white paper on financial status of the Telangana State.
He alleged that the TRS government was neglecting the irrigation projects. Stating that the Pay & Accounts Office (PAO) has stopped release of second quarter funds, Nagam asked how the once rich State, as claimed by the Chief Minister, has become a poor now.
