
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday displayed unusual bonhomie towards his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu who took oath in the evening.
KCR extended hearty congratulations to Naidu on the occasion of his swearing-in as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
“Now that the two Telugu speaking States are formed, let us together coordinate for future development and prosper”, KCR stated. The Chief Minister also stated that the new State of Andhra Pradesh will develop gradually on par with other States.
“We will certainly work in tandem with our neighboring States in coordination” KCR said and extended full cooperation to Naidu.
The Telangana CM stated they have no objection if Godavari waters were given to AP instead of going waste into sea.
“Why should we oppose when Godavari waters are being given to our neighboring Telugu people?”, he asked.
